Still utterly beguiled by Algernon Cecil Newton's paintings. Still unable to come to terms with his having been so absurdly overlooked. Still baffled at the absence of books about him and his work. 
Should you be interested in Newton, his ArtUK page is a useful introduction. But how very regretable, that his art should've been deemed so profoundly unfashionable that it was largely ignored, when he was clearly an exceedingly special painter.

Hurrah for those who have recognised Algernon Cecil Newton's quality over the years. Hurrah for those who've worked - with articles & exhibitions etc - to bring his art the attention it surely deserves. But what a shame & a loss, that he was so peripherilised for so many decades.
