Compiled vanitygen on my Raspberry Pi to generate myself an LTC address: LScottJCSQXkTJ4KRwZZkbC1HCSvN21e4H. It took ten minutes using 2 cores at 35,000 keys/second.
I tried creating a similar BTC vanity address, but the estimated time was 3.5 days. ARM v7 has 4 tiny cores and RPI has no GPU.

For a few dollars, I rented an EC2 instance g3.8xlarge with 2 @nvidia GPU's aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/new-…
Each GPU has 1000x the hashing power of my Raspberry Pi's CPU
