1) This is completely idiotic, almost like Seth didn't even read the memo. Let me lay out the allegations memo by memo, as again the dossier isn't a dossier, its a bunch of memos. @sethabramson has the reading comprehension of a blind lemur.
2) The closest thing to money going to Trump that the memos mention are kickbacks that the Trump campaign received in relation to real estate deals. these are mentioned in the same details as Trump's lurid sex acts being blackmail material.
3) Fuck it, let's go memo by memo, as again this isn't a dossier, this is a series of memos where no specifics outside proven false or hilarious fake allegations (the Cohen Prague meeting and the ritz carlton bed peeing) are brought forth.
4) June 2016: Russia has been simultaneously feeding Trump intelligence, blackmailing him, grooming him to be a presidential candidate, and feeding him real estate deals. No specifics on what the real estate deals are. "For reasons unknown, Trump has not taken up any of these."
5) Yeah, those real estate kickback deals? Trump didn't take up any of them according to Steele's own memo. Not even fucking joking here. Page 2, point 2, bottom of the paragraph. See, unlike @sethabramson, I CITE THE SPECIFIC PARAGRAPHS. Also Seth is a godawful poet.
6) 26 July memo, all about Russian cyber warfare, no mention of Trump anywhere.
7) Third memo, undated, page 7 on the buzzfeed pdf documentcloud.org/documents/3259… is all about the DNC hack and 'intelligence exchanges' and alleged collaboration between the Trump campaign and Russia. Also more allegations of Trump sexcapades.
8) Claims a source saying that Trump has been trying to get business dealings in Russia but has failed. Yet in a previous memo it says that Russia has been offering sweet business deals but Trump rejected them. Care to clarify the difference all-knowing @SethAbramson?
9) Next memo, 19 July 2016, all about a meeting between Carter Page in which he is obviously trying to be an energy lobbyist, Sechin, and Divyekin, who uses the 'kompromat' as a threat. Kompromat that a year and a half later we still haven't seen. Uh huh.
10) July 30 2016 is all about the Kremlin shitting a brick that the DNC email hack is spiraling out of control, and conveniently a promise not to release the kompromat due to voluntary cooperation from the Trump campaign.
11) Trump has since fired missiles at a shared airbase between Russians and Syrians in Syria, sanctioned multiple russians including the son of the top prosecutor Yuri Chaika (alleged holder of the kompromat) Artem Chaika, and sold lethal weapons to Ukraine. Yup.
12) 5 August 2016 memo is more Russia shitting bricks about the DNC email hack and the Kremlin wanting Trump to withdraw from the race (point 4) due to his psychological state and unsuitability for office. Because the 'Trump is crazy' bullshit started early.
13) 10 August 2016 memo is all about alleging that Russia is the one turning educated youth against Clinton and that Flynn, Carter Page, and Jill Stein are all working with Russia. Yyyyyyyyup.
14) Second 10 August 2016 memo alleges that Trump's campaign wants to use the DNC leaks to turn Sanders voters against Clinton. Basically its all about campaign tactics, 'fear' of Clinton's use of Russia as a boogeyman. Still no mention of Russia funding Trump's campaign btw.
15) 20 October 2016 memo is all about the alleged meeting between Trump lawyer Cohen and some Russians in Prague which was since BTFO. Still no allegations that Russians giving Trump money. @sethabramson has the reading comprehension of a CNN journalist.
16) 22 August 2016 memo is about kickback payments to Manafort and meetings which were held about them after he resigned as campaign manager. That's right, one of the alleged key pawns of Russia who allegedly has been taking payments from them... was no longer in the campaign.
17) 14 September 2016 memo is more crap about Russia shitting bricks over the DNC hack. Blames Russia for making both candidates anti-TPP and anti-TTIP. Because of course blame Russia for that.
18) September 14 2016 memo is about the relationship between Putin and top oligarchs, and has fuck all to do with the election or Trump.
19) Second September 14 2016 memo is more allegations of lurid sex acts and claims an Araz Agalarov would know more.
20) For the record, this has been 4 memos alleging Trump engaging in blackmailable sex, 0 saying his campaign took money to be influenced in foreign policy, and 2 conflicting memos saying he was rejected when he tried to seek out real estate deals and that he rejected them.
21) 12 October 2016 memo claims Russia has buyers remorse on Trump, and that there was 'over-promising' on Trump's chances to win. Because apparently even Russia doubted Trump's chances to win? Really?
22) 18 October 2016 Oh, finally we get to some actual quid-pro-quo involving the campaign, in whiiiiiiiich Page says that Trump intends to lift sanctions on Russia. >.> Has anyone actually READ the Carter Page testimony? intelligence.house.gov/uploadedfiles/…
23) He at one point claims he was chased out of Trump tower 90 times with a giant flyswatter. Really. The closest thing to a payoff that matches what Seth Abramson said, and its all Carter Page saying he speaks for Trump.
24) Yet Cohen and his Russian wife are the ones that play the 'key role' in the secret Trump/Russia alliance. Ok, so a few very important points to make: First, who the fuck is the key player here, Page or Cohen?
25) 'Cause suddenly liberals are claiming Papaderpolous was the key part of the Trump/Russia investigation, but he's NEVER MENTIONED in the memos.
26) Is it Page? Is it Cohen? Because the key meetings with Cohen are proven to have not happened, yet if he is the key representative for Trump, why are Russian officials trying to cut deals with Page? This crap is all in the same memo, its self-contradictory!
27) Also, 4:1 in sex acts to alleged promises of payoffs. Not even actual payoffs. Just in case you liberals got a semi-chubby over @SethAbramson being almost honest with his statement. Which he wasn't.
28) 19 October 2016 memo, more allegations of Cohen as the key player of the Trump/Russia alliance. No mention of Page or his massive payoff he was offered when he was speaking on behalf of the President on sanctions lifting. BTW, no sanctions have been lifted. 👍
29) Footnote of memo: "The Kremlin insider was uncertain of the identities of the PA officials with whom Cohen met secretly in August, or the exact date/s and locations of the meeting/s." SO HOLD UP ONE FUCKING MINUTE.
30) This memo claims there's an insider saying that Cohen had secret meetings with Russian officials, but doesn't know the date, location, or who was even at the fucking meetings. But Cohen DEFINITELY had some meetings.
31) @sethabramson secretly had meetings with officials from the Cuban government under Chavez, according to one of their internal police insiders. He had no idea who where or when the meetings were. SEE HOW EASY THAT IS?!?
32) 13 December 2016 claims the Cohen Prague meeting again, this time accompanied by 3 unnamed individuals. The Prague meeting that again has been disproven via Cohen's own passport. And how to cover up the whole alliance, especially in case Hillary won.
33) NOWHERE does it make the ACTUAL ALLEGATION that Trump took Russian money from shell companies to influence foreign policy. The closest it makes is a brokerage deal that was offered to Page, which is odd given the memo alleges Cohen was the primary representative for Trump.
