Thread. I know this is for somebody. This is for the people who allow the shame from their past mistakes to stop them from following the calling God has placed on their lives.
Sometimes we allow our past to get in the way of our future. We allow the enemy to feed us with lies like “you’ve messed up too many times, God doesn’t want to use you now.”
God knew the mistakes you were going to make way before you ever made them and that didn’t stop Him from placing a call on your life.
That didn’t stop Him from giving you a purpose. It didn’t stop Him from setting you apart and equipping you with everything needed in order to fulfill that purpose.
The enemy wants you to feel so down on yourself and so unworthy that he makes you believe you can’t even worship God because you keep falling short.
Let me say this, your failures and mistakes don’t change God’s love and his grace.
He is worthy of all the worship we can give. He wants our broken pieces. He doesn’t want us to pretend we have it all together. Go to Him broken. Go to Him afraid. Go to Him flawed. Just go to Him.
In the midst of your mess you’ll find out that God wants you how you are. But you’ll also find out He loves you so much He isn’t going to leave you how you are. He will mold you into exactly who He’s created you to be.
