Because what began as only ideological, became, with experience and awareness, simply logical.
It's logical to assume that others wish to be treated as you would wish to be. [1/8]
That it's the young, and not the old, who light the way for social change. [3/8]
That my children need somewhere to call home, and that somewhere must be free, equal and open, or it's not worth having at all. [4/8]
And that people of cultures, or appearances, different from mine are no more defaulted to doing me harm than I am to them. [6/8]
To be anything else is to disregard reason, history, and the very foundation of our humanity.
