back on my bullshit. just enough time to mainline this episode of cantwell's garbage podcast before tonight's charlottesville city planning commission meeting. i think taking some time away from this shit just lowered my tolerance for it.

i've heard reports that cantwell himself will say, privately, that this show is mostly performance art. alex jones has said the same thing about his show. i'm not sure i buy it. maybe it started out that way. and he's certainly leaning into it. but you can't fake this much hate.

chris says the folks involved with the trad workers are good people, doing good work. he's offered heimbach the use of his platform to publish TWP content. well, would you look at that -- someone's assembling the altright voltron of my dreams.

the economist has logged on - explaining why cryptocurrency is so much better than the hatreon/paypal/whatever else he used to use (and is now barred from): paypal had 2.9% fees. buying crypto has lower fees, not more than 5%!

chris is saying the action itself in charlottesville was “good,” the only problem is that it’s “red army territory” — he’s not looking forward to facing a cville jury (his change of venue motion was denied in january - it’s alb county though, but he doesn’t know the difference)

says they need to plan actions more carefully, taking into account who’s gonna be on the jury afterward. he’d gladly face a jury in pittsylvania county, for example. he learned the term “voir dire!” he’s on his way to being a decent jailhouse lawyer 😂

why am i surprised to hear cantwell pushing folks to buy a copy of mein kampf from his web store? he read it while he was in jail here in charlottesville and just can't recommend it highly enough. good god, i need a palate cleanser before bed.
