To spell it out, Cambridge Analytica servers were seized under criminal warrant and remain a subject of the largest data forensics investigation in history. The ICO cooperates with FBI. To omit this fact is not doing your job.

1/This is about the period before CA was officially hired by the Trump campaign. I believe CA was unofficially Team Trump from before he even announced his candidacy. When they aligned in June 2016, it was not an introduction, it was a reunion.

2/October 2015: the Trump campaign requested proposals from multiple vendors including nonpartisan political data firms L2 and rVotes.

They entered into an agreement w/ L2, which worked with Trump's team "to tailor data for the campaign’s use."
