1/ Going through your information workflow and plugging holes is such a good learning experience
2/ I found 3. First was tweets with recommended articles/videos I'd saved to task manager without any context - I'd never read/watch them. I realized saving them to instapaper for casual reading made more sense. If related to project, I needed associated task
3/ Second was a lingering note in my Evernote inbox, containing highlights from a long article I'd started in Instapaper but not finished reading. No easy solution for this, but I decided filing it away and out of sight was more important than having those notes together
4/ Third was files lingering in my downloads folder because they had nowhere to go. Needed to create project folders for them, since apparently I had files to save and track
5/ Having all inboxes empty is such a great feeling. There's a psychological attachment to all these pieces of info that gets released
