1/ The last earnings conference call, from February 7, 2018, was less than two months ago. But it seems like forever. I just reread the transcript this morning. I keep coming back to the same exchange. $TSLA

Combined Norway/Netherlands finally punching through 2017 for $TSLA, after what appears to be a large fleet sale in The Netherlands. Could also be a few days of sales reported as one.

There's no excuse for this. Normally, I would say VA's CIO should resign. I can't say that, however, because VA hasn't *had* a CIO since the Obama administration.
The Trump administration didn't even bother nominating a VA CIO until this July--a year and a half into the term.

The acting CIO is a Trump operative who has, of course, been accused of harassment. politico.com/story/2018/04/…
Being a shitshow has consequences. And in this case, it's negatively impacting America's war veterans--the people President Trump insists he cares so much about.

1/ Call me a bitter clinger. But the CA election results just don't feel 'right' to me. So I poked around the Election Law Code and discovered that less than two months ago, 9/17/2018 a revision to the election code was passed by the Dems in charge of our State.
2/ The Election Code Division 3 Vote by Mail Voting Chapter 1:3019 was passed on Sept. 17, 2018 in time to be implemented for yesterday's election.

In it there is provision for NOT PROCESSING a returned ballot if the signatures on the ballot don't match the registration.
3/ I'll add details to this as I can but in a nutshell CA Election Law gives a means to set aside a ballot until the signatures are confirmed.

The law says that notice to the voter must happen before 8 days prior to the election is certified and the voter then has confirm signin

We've now entered Fiscal Year 2019.
OMB has projected a deficit of $1.085 Trillion dollars.
Paul Ryan became Speaker of the House weeks after fiscal year 2015 ended with a deficit of $439 billion.
National debt stands at $21.4 trillion.
It was $19.9 trillion the day Trump took office.
OMB projects debt will hit $29T in fiscal 2025 under Trump's policies.
It was $10.6 trillion the day Obama took office.
It was $5.7 trillion the day Bush took office.
Math:
Fiscal 2017 House GOP budget projected a $207 billion deficit for fiscal 2019 under their policies.
White House OMB projects a $1.085T deficit.
What happened?
Revenue ~$366B BELOW House R's pre-election budget.
Spending ~$521B ABOVE House R's pre-election budget.

Good morning everyone,

This is such an important day I could hardly sleep. I was up in the middle the night thinking about all the survivors stories I read this week. Millions & millions of women who’ve been raped, abused, harassed, intimidated and degraded. I shed a few tears.
I keep coming back to the same thought. The attitude of the Republican Party, of the entrenched corrupt members of power, all these sick (mostly) old (mostly) white men is this:

“Fuck you. We get to abuse you.”

It’s that simple.
When you boil down all the lies and evasions, rationalizations, attacks on character, bad-faith pedantic arguments, they simply do not add up.

It’s just a melee of of half-truths and brutal attacks.

Massive surveillance and opaque, targeted profiling based on this extensive data isn’t good for us. Facebook provides useful services. We can have such services under different business models & different technological regimes. Silicon Valley is stuck in a (very enriching!) rut.
And that claim by the Facebook Vice President that everyone whose data was siphoned off, and ultimately used by Trump campaign, because a Facebook friend downloaded an app for a $1 or to $2, “gave their consent”?! 😱Facebook doesn’t care about or care to understand about consent.
