When you’re tired, take a break.

When you’re rested, fight some more.

We’re in this together; we have each other’s backs; and we’ll take our country back.
I'm just going to add to this a bit since we're all a bit worn out.

I survived a narcissist. It was exhausting... and maddening... and often seemed like it would never get better...
At the worst of times, I turned away from that person and their crazy-making and turned toward the people who needed protection from them.

Turning away from the assailant and turning your attention to the victims is amazingly re-centering.
It quiets the howling wind of the narcissist's storm and reminds you who needs shelter. It reminds you that even in your weakness, you are someone else's strength.

Tending to others IS fighting the good fight. We are all warriors and medics.
Take time to be a medic to someone in need of comfort. Take time to accept care from others who know the fight.

The valor is in survival.

Sometimes that means being on the front lines; sometimes that means tending to and being tended to by other survivors.
Surviving a narcissist is a war of a thousand battles. Surviving is winning.

Don't be disheartened by how heavy the rock may feel today. Take heart in the fact that you're still pushing... and take comfort in the company of people who need that from you and who are pushing too.
