1) All humans seek the state which is beyond the monotony of their lives
2) A state of Rapture
3) In which all people and things are experienced as if for the first time
5) For it cannot be owned or sustained by such means
6) It is available only to the one who seeks to make it his home
7) And it forever eludes the one who is merely curious
9) It cannot happen by way of prayer, ablutions, mindfulness, or any "practice"
10) For these are all intermediary prescriptions
12) Prescriptions are roads paved with tar. Attempt to traverse it, and you will be stuck forever
13) Prescriptions are a crevasse concealed by a blanket
15) One experiences every moment of his life
16) Turmoil does not lay a finger upon him
17) The Mind serves him
18) And he owns his life in a way that defies the imagination
20) You may search for a life of Rapture within the halls of religious institutions, meditation retreats, and Zen temples
21) But how can you possibly find something in a place in which it does not live?
23) As for the few and precious years that remain . . .
24) Should he not with the full force of his humanity seek the Rapture he deserves?
25) Should he not live the remainder of his days in this Glorious state?
Namaste.
