"Let anybody come and confront me publicly in the National Assembly. What have they been doing? Some of them have been there for 10 years. What have they been doing?"  -  @MBuhari, 22/5/18
Today while his VP was in #Benue attending the funerals on a number of our countrymen who were killed by suspected herdsmen in the ongoing #PastoralConflict, our President was busy making nonsense of @ProfOsinbajo's efforts by running his mouth in the villa at a campaign event.
While it is common knowledge that Buhari doesn't really care about the average Nigerian, and is more concerned with returning to the Villa next year, it boggles the mind that the man keeps undermining those who could have worked with him to actually give him a decent legacy.
After all, no matter what happens, at the very least, 2015–2019 will be described as the Buhari years.

None of these groups of people is more important than @nassnigeria.
Prior to the 2015 elections, I said, on numerous occasions, that the elections into the National Assembly were probably more important than those into the executive offices.
I think many Nigerians realise that now.

It is @nassnigeria that gives @AsoRock the tools to do what they need to do in a sustainable manner.
Bad as the leaders of the legislature may be, @bukolasaraki's emergence as Senate President as an example left an ugly taste, the fact is this - they have made efforts to at the very least do their jobs.
A very important part of our national existence is #CFRN1999, and they have made efforts to amend that fraudulent document.
A complete list of the efforts they have made is here - bit.ly/2s4rUiu (two months old), which begets the question - how many of these 200 Bills and amendments has Buhari signed into law?
I think that Buhari's comment today (read here - bit.ly/2LhmCsN) was both in very bad taste, and indicative of the fact that he does not know anything.

In three years, the current NASS, bad as they may be, have managed to pass 200 Bills.
Consider this: in four years between 2007 and 2011, NASS passed less than 100 Bills.

While I will accept that some of the Bills passed by the current NASS are superfluous, the key thing is this - they are beginning to learn their jobs.

Does Buhari know his?

NO!
