The true outrage of the collapse of the People's Vote is that an organisation that "was not professionally run", was "raising £100,000 a week in small donations" which should have been used to directly fund grassroots campaigns. /1

So today, I've had a guy follow me all the way down a road, constantly pestering me "Hello! Where are you going? Etc."
And just now a guy stops, looks me up & down and says "Oh God. Oh shit."
Are women not allowed out on their own in Greece? Or do I just look really bad today?🤔 I'd hasten to add that these 2 incidents were in addition to the standard level of street harassment that I anticipate everywhere I go... it doesn't just happened in Greece: it's endemic across Europe. And it's not OK. Because it intimidates women out of public spaces... 2.

1/ Classic start to a Northern train journey: 24 min delay due to "awaiting a member of staff" & the train to MCR airport is rammed incl. a group of rowdy lads singing Vera Lynn "We'll meet again" & drinking cans of Bud Light at 8:30am 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️ #EUsupergirlTour ✈🇬🇧 2/ Then the "Direct" MCR airport service randomly decides it isn't going to the airport after all (don't they realise people have flights to catch?!)🤦🏼‍♀️✈
Funny: I have to plan 1hr contingency time for train Fckups when I travel to Northern airports.

1/Confronting Tim Martin in #Wetherspoons:
The clip cuts out, but I pointed out that UK economy has dropped to bottom of G7 & experienced 2.1% impact to GDP as a result of fall in Sterling.

1/ The team is in #Eastbourne #Wetherspoons. Within 5 mins of arriving a bitter faced woman comes up to me & orders me "not to disrupt the event or she will vote Leave again in a #PeoplesVote"
I asked her if she was threatening me? 🤔
(At least she is thinking about another vote) 2/ absolutely packed full in #Eastbourne #Wetherspoons. Some holding @LeaveMnsLeave placards. Everyone squeezed in like sardines. I heard a lady whining that Remainers had come. Someone else pulled a pro EU badge off my guitar case and slipped it into their pocket (Beats me?)🤷🇪🇺

Arrived at #Wetherspoons in MCR. Tim Martin arrives 10 mins late & tells us "he is going to give us a talk". I thought this was supposed to be a #Brexit debate? 🤔 "Metropolitan elites are pushing for a deal we don't need & if we crash out on #NoDeal we will avoid paying £39bn" I just had to point out to Tim that it is our own government who hasn't been implementing EU laws on controlling migration and hasn't properly documented #EUcitizens living in the UK, as they do in other EU countries.
He just admitted he needs to go back and "check his books." 🙄

1/ I've just spent today catching up with an old school friend I haven't seen since last Christmas. She is in her final year studying medicine at uni - she's a smart girl. Yet, she told me that she is bored to tears by Brexit and she's sick of hearing about it on the news. 2/ She said she's stopped listening to Radio 4 because all she ever hears about the #IrishBackstop. She admitted she didn't know what it is, but is sick of hearing every man & his dog interviewed for their opinion. She prefers listening to "calming music" on radio 3 instead

1/ So despite the check-in staff at MCR airport being very entertained by the #BollockstoBrexit stickers on my passport, my case got pulled out at security and I was ordered to remove them because they are "offensive"🤔 (Personally I think #Brexitbis more offensive than bollocks) 2/ I objected pointing out that "bollocks" had been determined not to be offensive in a court of law. The member of staff didn't believe, so I told her to look up the Sex Pistols album "never mind the Bollocks". She told me she "wasn't a sex pistols fan"🙄 completely irrelevant.
