Final #coronavirus numbers for Sept 17th. The world added 314,752 new #COVID19 infection cases yesterday, the most worldwide new infections of any day yet in the pandemic, while losing another 5,579 lives to the virus. Yesterday total to date global deaths surpassed 950,000

Just in #Denmark’s @Statsmin (PM) Mette Frederiksen has called a 2pm press conference on the #COVID19 situation here in #Danmark. Yesterday the country saw the highest number of daily #coronavirus infections of any one day yet.

#India added 96,793 new #COVID19 infection cases yesterday while another 1,174 more people in the country lost their lives to the #coronavirus.

The #USA registered another 46,295 new #COVID19 infection cases yesterday while another 879 Americans lost their lives to the #coronavirus. The U.S. will cross 7,000,000 total to date infections within a few days.

#COVID19 numbers continue to surge across #Europe with six different countries registering there highest ever daily new infection numbers yesterday. Leading the way with soaring #coronavirus infections are #Spain, #France, #Ukraine, and the #CzechRepublic

Both #Denmark and the #Netherlands also recorded the highest number of new #COVID19 infections of any day yet yesterday. While #Romania had its 2nd highest daily total and #Poland saw a significant day to day increase in #coronavirus cases.

For the 6th time in the last 7 days the #UK saw 3000+ new #coronavirusuk infections yesterday. For a 2nd day #Germany had over 2000 new #COVID19 infections. For the 1st since Apr 25th #Belgium had over 1,000 new infections. While #Portugal had the most cases since Apr 10.

Elsewhere in the world #Canada seems to be seeing increasing numbers of daily #COVID19 infections. Numbers are soaring in #Honduras and #Palestine. In #SouthAmerica #Argentina recorded its highest ever number of #coronavirus infections yesterday.
