The town is only around 10km south of #Kherson city.

A school in the Kalininsky district of #Donetsk has been hit by shelling.

Looks like targeted strikes but not with the most destructive rockets. Obviously at a weekend and early in the morning no one should be around - but #Russia's troops often use schools as military bases.

One place where #Russia has made a little ground is near #Bakhmut (RU: #Artemovsk).
Invaders have been on the eastern outskirts of the city for weeks without progress. But they're now moving in from the south too.

"The movement of freight and passenger trains on the #Crimea Bridge is on schedule, suburban traffic will be fully restored at 19.00"

Meanwhile all trains delayed from yesterday are now said to have crossed from #Crimea into Russian territory.

#Ukraine has confirmed which villages the army controls in #Luhansk oblast.

Governor Haidai names them as:
Novolyubivka, Nevske , Hrekivka, Novojehorivka, Nadiya, Andriivka and Stelmakhivka.

All are in the Svativskyi district, just a few km from the state border with #Donetsk

#England and #Ukraine have been drawn together in qualifying for the 2024 men's European Football Championships.

The "pops" seem regular wood burning rather than anything more suspicious.

A few minutes before, #Russia's forces launched missiles but one was shot down (or malfunctioned)

A maniac from #Saratov in #Russia kept a tiger cub 'Aurora' locked up in total darkness.

Reportedly fed and watered only once a week, she's now blind and terrified.
Animal Rights activists have now rescued the poor creature.
