Everything is centred on #Kherson with many seemingly fanciful rumours now looking likely to be really as bad for #Russia as suggested.

We know there were big missile attacks on retreating Russians trying to cross the river. Seven different sites were hit by rockets.

Frustratingly the lack of internet means verification is extremely difficult.

The latest reports I've had include a missile on a hotel just outside #Kherson where Russians were staying.

Beryslav, Nova Kakhovka, Antonivka, Kherson, all covered by heavy artillery. Huge losses

No news (yet) of the dam being damaged at #Kakhovka, but again, trustworthy information is scarce, especially at night and with no communication.

The bloodbath may not be reflected in today's daily losses total when released by #Ukraine later - they'll likely come tomorrow

#Mykolaiv the latest to be hit (RU: #Nikolaev)

#Russia may have abandoned its troops in #Kherson but it has some of its best in #Bakhmut and environs.

The town itself is ruined but remains in #Ukraine hands. But heavy losses reported on both sides.

Treat this with scepticism - after massive RU losses, including newly mobilised around here, they need to announce some good news.

Russian channels claim they blew up the Antonivskyi Bridge overnight, but only indistinguishable video even though it's been light for over an hour.

Fleeing Russians claim they destroyed the bridges at #Antonivka and across the #Kakhovka dam.

A popular blogger then also claims #Ukraine damaged the dam! This could be a convenient excuse prior to them breaking the dam.

Understandably they're greeted as heroes as the crowd chanting "ZSU" to show their support for the armed forces, which has forced #Russia's army to flee.

The predominantly Russian speaking people of #Kherson hate #Russia and all because of #Putin, who's done a great job of uniting #Ukraine.

Totally ransacked; almost anything of value which was not broken was taken.
