Of course, in doing so, he makes it clear that his concern is not the anthem at all. Trump is not uninviting the Eagles because some members kneel during the anthem -- he's uninviting them because some of them did something that he thinks criticizes him personally.
Reminder: not a single player on the Eagles knelt during the anthem at the Super Bowl. At least 3 of the players who had said they weren't going to the White House -- Torrey Smith, Chris Long, Malcolm Jenkins -- have said that they personally will not kneel as a form of protest.
