The public should note that the SARS officers involved in the Ojota CHINESE Town Saga have been arrested and detained on the behest of the Lagos Commissioner of Police Imohimi Edgai.

Based on this report, the CP Lagos, immediately activated the Command X-Squad section in collaboration with the Divisional Police Officer, Ogudu Division, CSP Gbenga Olorunfemi, to fish out the policemen involved in matter. #EndSARS #ReformPoliceNG

Their findings revealed that the victim by name, Ademuwagun Temitope Solomon was not shot by operatives of the SARS as reported by the online media but suffered from the inhalation of tear-gas spray a.k.a pepper spray occasioned by a police patrol team attached to AreaH Command

...in Ogudu. The infamous patrol team was led by Inspr Momoh Sulaiman assisted by Sgt. Monday Emmanuel. The victim had been revived.

The trial of the rogue team will commence today 09/06/2018 and if found guilty of offence of incivility to a member of the public and unlawful exercise of authority, they could face punishment as severe as dismissal.

I’ve just been briefed now that in keeping with its promise to update Lagosians about the activities of the Command, the Lagos State Police Command, wishes to inform members of the public that the Commissioner of Police, CP Imohimi Edgal has dismissed the three police men,...

...comprising of an inspector and two sergeants, who were alleged to have sprayed tear-gas on Mr. Ademuwagun Temitope Solomon which provoked severe asthmatic crisis in him. The incident took place at Chinese town, Ojota area of Lagos state.

The men whose names and service numbers are:
(1) 220957 Inspector Momoh Sulaiman,
(2) 429659 Sgt. Emmanuel Monday and
(3) 434246 Sgt. Adamu Usman, were tried in an orderly room which commenced yesterday 09/06/2018 and were found guilty as charged.

They were therefore dismissed and de-kitted accordingly. However, the dismissal proceeding of Inspector Momoh Sulaiman has been forwarded to the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 2 for approval.

The question we need to them ask is what happens next? Do these people roam the street free after their crime with dismissal being the only remedy? @citizen_gavel @AbdulMahmud01 Though the Advocacy will proceed to press charges should the survivor instructs on this matter.
