1st Bill: ‘Fair Day in Court for Kids Act of 2018’ (S. 2468)- This allows those 52 week old and 4-year-old kids get access to FREE counsel so they can fight for their case. YES, rn, children are expected to represent themselves.
9/ 2nd Bill: HELP separated children Act’ (S.2937)- Self-explanatory Bill.
10/ 3rd Bill: ‘Keep Families Together BIll’ Introduced just yesterday by @SenFeinstein . This bill is only backed up by 32 senators so far. So if your rep is NOT backing it up, CALL them!!!
11/ How can you check if your reps are backing these bills?!? Check out this super handy tool: govtrack.us
12/ Follow & Support @HIASrefugees Find out who is organizing local actions. I am SURE there are more ways to take action on this urgent issue. Please add to this list. Remember - taking action helps with despair. Any little thing you do is good.

Most channels spread the false idea that the Ordinance by criminalising Muslim husbands who desert without a legal divorce, is ending a 'privilege' that Muslim men alone enjoyed. Men of all communities do it, Muslim personal law sanctioned it b4 SC verdict #TripleTalaqOrdinance
How can desertion of wives without legal divorce be treated as a criminal offence if a Muslim man does it and not if a Hindu man does it? Deter qazis etc from sanctioning it by scrapping registration if they sanction ITT. #TripleTalaqOrdinance
