Hi everyone! I'm at the Turning Points USA Young Women's conference this weekend in Dallas, TX. Dr. Jordan Peterson is about to speak on a panel with Charlie Kirk, I'll live tweet some quotes here
Before him was Jennifer Grossman of Atlas Society/Marissa Streit of Prager, who talked abt "decline of femininity"

"When someone compliments you, say thank you," -- Streit

I've haven't seen "so many gorgeous women under one roof since Harvey Weinstein's arraignment" -- Grossman
Peterson got a standing ovation upon entry. The audience is overwhelmingly young women, but for Peterson's talk, about 20-30 young men have arrived to listen and have lined the back of the room.

"The left makes a case for the utilities of hierarchy," -- Peterson
Peterson is currently on a 10-minute interrupted lecture on how post-modernists joined with Neo-Marxists to create identity politics.

"View the world not as a collection of groups but as individuals, a group of individuals who are responsible for themselves and their families."
"You dont want to play identity politics," Peterson says. "What you should bring to the table is an emphasis on individual responsibility."

"You need an individually focused set of ideals in order to sidestep the identity politics traps."
Kirk asks if liberals find meaning in victimhood.

Peterson mentions how he doesnt like college major like women's studies/ethnic studies: "These radical disciplines behave in the same way as cults."

Says college profs who teach in such majors usually personally hate men/whites
"Just because you've suffered at the hands of one man doesn't mean that as a consequence that all men must suffer."

Gets applause from crowd (who, I remind you, are largely 18-24 year old women)
"I hate this idea that the West is a patriarchal tyranny -- it's absurd," - Peterson.

Kirk has women raise their hands if they're taught in school that the patriarchy exists.
"Women are paid slightly less than men but there are many reasons for that," Peterson said.

Audience breaks into applause.

Says motherhood caucuses women to take economic hit, but much smaller than left says
"It looks to me that in our society young women are taught to overvalue career," Peterson says, citing unnamed women in law he "knows" who made partner by 30 and then quit.

"My experience is as women mature from 19 to 30, the value they lay as relationship and family increases."
One woman asks through Twitter: "As conservative women, how can we help society's war on men and masculinity?"

Peterson says start in your own relationships. Trust men.

"Once you've been hurt, trust becomes an act of courage, not of naivety," Peterson says
Dr. Jordan Peterson giving advice to women's conference on fighting "war on men."

"Start by manifesting courageous faith in your partner and in the men in your life."
Peterson says he's been trying to guess why women have higher levels of anxiety and depression

His guesses: 1) women are physically smaller 2) Sex is more dangerous for women, so they live more fearful after puberty 3) Women being more sensitive to threat is good for motherhood
"I think the call for gender fluidity and the idea that there is a gender spectrum is likely to be very confusing for children," Peterson said. Says it's "social engineering."

"Hopefully this nonsense will disappear as ppl comes back to their senses."

<Applause>
Kirk says he was told by a student that Stanford no longer teaches Shakespeare because he was a white man

Peterson responds: "if the universities abandons classic literature, their sacred responsibility"...universities will lose their stranglehold on higher ed
In closing, Charlie Kirk says you can learn more from watching Dr. Jordan Peterson videos than going to college for four years.

Says Peterson is his "hero" and is vitally important for the fight to "save Western civilization."

Peterson walks off to standing ovation.
That's it for Peterson. I'm not going to live tweet everyone because I have soccer to watch/work to do, but if any of the other speakers say anything else especially notable I'll add it to this thread (candace Owens, Kellyanne Conway, tomi lahren to come)
Fun Fact:Tomi Lahren has mentioned @davidhogg111 seven times in five minutes on stage.
She's also fashioned a whole section of her speech abt the water-throwing incident in Minnesota. It's like a youth pastor esque sermon encoruaging the young women to overcome "whatever your water situation is."
"There aren't a lot of women in positions of power but that's not because of patriarchy," Lahren says. "It's because women spend their time cutting other women down."
