Every time we blame the government for everything, let’s understand that government might be guilty of everything we blame them for but we are not ready if we don’t look in the mirror and understand that we are also 100% culpable.
A lot of you travel around the world, be honest to yourself. Is this how other world citizens are? If we don’t accept the truth then we will never achieve the results even if solutions are applied.
Plateau for instance, this governor came, did a lot to achieve peace. There have been relative peace in the last 2 years only for pple to wake up 1 day, start killing their fellow countrymen? Does govt have camera on every community to stop irrational random unplanned acts?
Individually we have to tell ourselves we have to be law abiding citizens, let’s engage our communities, our leaders, our religious leaders. Pastors are in church preaching violence buying weapons for selfish reasons
*Some pastors, same goes for some selfish so called Muslim leaders who don’t see anything in their followers being violent and fighting government in the name of protest. Nigerians we are not ready to be very honest.
Remove Buhari if you want, go and bring Obama, the story will still remain the same if we don’t look at ourselves and change ourselves, we won’t go anywhere. And nobody should come at me with GEJ blah blah blah. Buhari has done a lot to pull us out of the shitty system he met.
Unless we don’t want the truth or blinded by sentiments. This is not politics but our survival. This is beyond politics. We are fighting for our survival at this point.
Put sanction on these tankers now and the next thing, petroleum marketers will go on strike, NUT will go on solidarity strike with them, our senators who are supposed to do something about it will come and tweet about it. Celebrity protesters will look for shine in the issue
The truth is we are not ready. When the government came wit change starts with you, we knocked it down. Even though to be honest, I believe the government itself was not serious about that project. Else it’s a must for people to obey laws.
Patriotism starts by respecting the laws of the land and being a law abiding citizen. You can’t be a yahoo boy in the night and come to twitter to shout nigeria is messed up, you can’t be a saboteur in the night and be an opposition politician in the day. Goes for everybody
NIGERIANS, THE TRUTH IS WE ARE NOT READY, WHEN WE ARE, THE SOLUTION IS THERE, ITS NO ROCKET SCIENCE.
From the government to politicians to civil servants to citizens, we are all guilty. Anyone that think otherwise is deceiving his/herself.
