In politics, try to stick the main reason why you are there, not the reason you are in it but the reason you are supposed to be in it. Prof. Hafiz went from being deputy governor to making stupid decisions and going from one party to another and back in APC.
It’s sheer stupidity when you are given opportunity to serve your country but you choose stupid loyalty over your country. You can still be loyal to some one and still do what you are supposed to do for your country.
I hope the young people going into politics define what loyalty means to them. Advancing some one’s personal interest above your country’s is not loyalty. It’s stupidity.
If you have a boss, the only right way to be loyal to him/her is to do all within your power to make sure they succeed. Do the work given to you deligently. So what’s right for them not what they want. God is going to be your judge even if you lose out.
Some of the things going on in our political circle lately, it’s becoming normalized but it’s shameful. We should frown upon Political prostitution. Yes we are going through transition, but we must be able to draw a line.
Just because it’s politics, you become shameless? Where is the dignity, the conscious?
