5/10 She was publicly congratulated by two fellow JVL members who are of course antisemitic: Kamel Hawwash (who lauded a Jewish toddler being shot) and Jackie Walker (suspended from labour for antisemitism)

7/10 But the Jewish Labour Movement have thousands of members whereas JVL have only a handful of members - approximately one hundred.

8/10 Levane, JVL and their associated groups are a tiny irrelevance in comparison to the Jewish mainstream community. They also have zero involvement with the Jewish community. Their only function is to normalise the abuse directed at the Jewish majority.
9/10 But Levane got a standing ovation at the labour conference by people delighted with someone using a Jewish identity. It gave them permission to be racist and protection from accusations of antisemitism.
