2. Dr. Ford has stated that she does not recollect when or where her alleged assault took place, nor any recollection of how she got to that place or how she got back home from that place. However, the incident in question took place some 35-36 years ago.
3. Considering the nature of the allegation and elapsed time, the statute of limitations has expired, and even if it hadn't, with the sketchiest of details, it is highly unlikely that any local or a federal authority will entertain Dr. Ford's allegation. Dr. Ford knows all this.
4. So why did Dr. Ford send a letter to Senator Feinstein? For one reason and one reason alone. Dr. Ford wanted Senator Feinstein to use her allegation in any manner she saw fit to derail Judge Kavanaugh's appointment to the Supreme Court, without revealing Dr. Ford's identity.
5. That is Dr. Ford's stated reason for sending her letter. She wanted to remain anonymous. She is not looking for any restitution of any kind, or any sympathy, or closure, or healing, or anything of the sort. Her singular objective is to ensure Judge Kavanaugh is not confirmed.

7. ... I do believe Senator Feinstein has tried as best as she could to accomplish Dr. Ford's objective, which of course is completely in sync with Democratic Party's objective, to sabotage Judge Kavanaugh's confirmation.
8. No one is naive enough to believe Senator Feinstein's assertion that a promise of anonymity was the sole reason for her not to reveal the letter until after the confirmation hearings for Judge Kavanaugh had completed.
9. Senate committees have elaborate processes and procedures to share information without revealing identities if they don't want to. You will notice that even to this day Committee Chairman Grassley has not been able to obtain an unredacted copy of Dr. Ford's letter.
10. Considering Senator Feinstein, and at this point also all Democrats on the committee, are the only ones who know the full contents of Dr. Ford's letter, and they don't want the full contents to be known to Committee Majority, ...
11. the only conclusion I can draw is that there is exculpatory information in the redacted portion of Dr. Ford's letter. If that hunch is correct, the Democrats on the committee are now doing willful and egregious damage to the whole confirmation process for all time to come.
12. If Judge Kavanaugh's nomination could have been potentially derailed by revealing the letter sooner, there is no doubt in my mind that it would have been. So circumstantial evidence is strong enough to conclude the accusatory letter is in reality pretty weak.
13. Democrats are colluding with the subservient liberal mainstream media (which has dropped all pretense of any objectivity and are now behaving explicitly as militant activists in the liberal cause to derail Kavanaugh) to play a very weak hand as strongly as possible.
14. If Dr. Ford now chooses to appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee, we should keep in mind her singular objective. Also, it would be reasonable to assume that she has been coached for days on end by the best acting coaches on planet earth by now.
15. It will be a grand theatrical production that Broadway will not be able to hold a candle to. We must overlook the production values and the theatrical performance, and focus on the substance of what is being presented. We must evaluate the testimony with clinical precision.
16. Feelings should play little role when the whole Democratic establishment and the mainstream media have lined up for the kill.
