That is quite the over oversimplification of what is happening and can/ will happen.

Assuming that the next administration, assuming there is one, respects the rule of law then the rule of law is interpreted and adjudicated by the judiciary branch.

All decisions that matter are made at the federal level and federal judicial appointments are for life, as are Supreme Court appointments.

No President can sign an executive order that overrides the Supreme Court, nor should they be allowed to.

Jay's analysis is correct.
The only reason that ACA survived to see a few more years was because the Supreme Court said it was an acceptable Constitutional action. If they had ruled otherwise the program would have had to be dismantled almost immediately.

Even though the legislative branch had said yes.
