@estahthor 2. NOW: #Follower-count remains flat for years (despite new followers & unfollow-tool shows 30 unfollows per week), #impressions now around 40.000 per day (60% less). RT & Likes still high, but had much more in the past.
There is no doubt that @jack & @Twitter mute our accounts!

Here are some signals SparkToro’s tool registered for tRump’s followers:

72% been inactive for 120+ days

3% been inactive between 90-120 days

3% created their acct the last 90 days

36% use Twitter’s default profile image

39% use display names that incl spam words/patterns

So this is fascinating and good news for researchers: Twitter just released more than 10M posts from accounts used for disinformation, including activity from 3,841 accounts linked to the infamous Internet Research Agency in St Petersburg blog.twitter.com/official/en_us…
This thread by @benimmo is excellent, @DFRLab got a preview of the data and already analyzed some of it
A few noteworthy items: Twitter anonymized (hashed) the userID for fake accounts with fewer than 5,000 followers.

Why? These are abuse accounts. They don't deserve privacy protection.

Also, Twitter seems to consider 5K the follower threshold for a public person. Interesting.
