(1/12) Here's a tweetstorm version of my book outline!

If you'd like to read or give feedback on the full outline, see the final tweet for my Medium post. (Thanks!)
You should read this book if you're interested in our current macro technosocietal context. I explore this in three parts:

Part I: Frameworks for Understanding (How to understand?)
Part II: Understanding Itself (What is happening?)
Part III: Actions (How to move forward?)
Part I explores:

- Meta-Frameworks. A framework *for* frameworks is necessary in times of complexity. (@Meaningness)
- Goals. If we’re trying to make a better world, then the question becomes “For who on what timescale?” (@Joi @Effect_Altruism)
- Specific Systems Frameworks.
Part II explores:

- Distributed Exponential Responsibility given Abundant Fragility. i.e.
- Fragility from an Industrial Revolution (IR)-based rivalrous mindset instantiated in a Digital Revolution (DR)-based exponential technological power distribution.
- AND, Abundance from IR
In other words, we have necessary AND sufficient conditions.

Fragility makes the phase shift *necessary*.
Abundance makes it *possible*.
Part II also looks at related phase shifts from IR to DR:

- From scarce capital to attention @albertwenger
- Trust as a mediating primitive @cdixon @Alex_Danco @rachelbotsman
- NewPower moving to Crowds @jeremyheimans @erikbryn
- Democratization of myths @naval @harari_yuval
——BREAK——

In the last part, I outlined a future that might feel kinda scary/stressful—lots of change possibility vectoring towards EXISTENTIAL RISK. (Caps lock!)

Time for a break! Go outside! Engage with reality in a spiritual, emotional, or physical way :)

——BREAK——
In Part III, we look at HOW to move forward:

- Defining macro systemic changes (antifragility through new decentralized crypto loop)
- Exploring ways we can be effective in complexity
- Intentionally acting in a value-based way that vectors towards a positive future
That's it! In many ways the book is a *curated synthesis* of these books (1/2). Thank you to all of these writers for their teaching! :)
And these books/writers too! (2/2) Thank you all for your teaching!
Also, I'm trying to make my book-writing process *itself* deeply aligned with a future of abundant long-term human flourishing.

(i.e. Open source all the things! Information should flow freely! Allow others to remix this! Give money back to the system!)
With that in mind:

a) Please tweet your feedback to this high-level outline! Be brutal!
b) Or if you'd like to go deeper, here's a draft of the introduction. I'd love your feedback/remixing (google doc inside!).

Thank you! Other chapters en route soon!
