Earlier this month, more than 900+ pages of federal court testimonies about Trump's family separation policy went public in Seattle.

The ones highlighted here from California are no less grueling & expansive: 1,000+ pages, to persuade a judge federal monitoring is needed. ⬇️
First, some background:

This California case is about a different but no less important issue - a "full-scale assault on the 1997 Flores settlement," in the words of the plaintiffs.

That's what protects immigrant children from indefinite detention. Trump wants to dismantle it.
Earlier this month, a federal judge excoriated the government for their "cynical" bid to "light a match" to the decades-old agreement.

The agreement lays out basic guidelines for caring for immigrant children; the 200+ testimonies allege breaches.
Like the other testimonies, the common thread here is an abject denial of basic dignity and humanity to the immigrant parents and children.

This wholly representative testimony comes from a Mexican asylum-seeker detained with her 2-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son.
