I’ve noticed some people don’t feel confident writing about ideas unless they’re informed by a study.

And that’s a shame because most studies are shit.
Studies explore one aspect of a local phenomena that may or may not have any relevance to reality.

People tend to ascribe all their authority to studies in exchange for their personal knowledge and observations.
Look around you.

What do you see?

Pursue that.

Pursue the lines. See whether they go.
