...the Roomba is apparently really user-servicable??? The screws stay in the backplate, the motor modules are completely removable... I love this????
The motor module itself is far less user servicable dangit. I'm unsure if the issue is that there's cathair in the motor or the motor just went bad but either way there's way too much friction in the motor itself, I just don't see a good way to replace it without breaking this.

This is a 4 year old model too, I think? And they stock the replacement parts still and its that easily removable motor assembly? This is so not what I expected when I opened this up. TIL iRobot makes things modular and easy to replace.
