I saw BlacKkKlansman last night and I couldn't sleep for thinking about that end. Floored me.
I don't think i've ever seen a film that spoke so urgently about the moment that we are currently inhabiting. I saw the film on August 11, 2018; the film ends on August 12, 2017.
The last two movies I saw in theatres were BlacKkKlansman and Sorry to Bother You, and they speak to each other in super interesting ways. One a first time filmmaker, one a veteran, both very strikingly about voice & race & identity.

I am currently at @nhsuhcw being induced following SROM at exactly 37/40.
As a doctor, & a control freak, I took the approach of "hope for the best, plan for the worst" when it came to my pregnancy. I'd already requested induction of labour at 41/40, if I got that far - & I assumed, as a first-time mum, that I would - due to stillbirth risk post-dates.

Last night I dreamed I was eating soup at Twitter HQ with Jack Dorsey. I don’t think this reflects well on my mental health.
This might seem like a stupid dream but actually I spent a day at Twitter (even thought about working there) several years ago so I guess dreaming about it isn’t so weird. Not sure what the soup means.
Anyway in this (very weird, serious dream, wtf is wrong with me) I was asking Jack why the hell every other platform with Twitter’s reach has branched out into messaging, payments etc. but Twitter has basically added 140 characters.
