With Sotomayor, we saw: 100%.
With Kagan, we saw: 98%

Brett Kavanaugh: 10%

Imagine interviewing for a job and hiding NINETY-PERCENT of your past:
Republicans are trying to sell the MASSIVE obstruction around Brett Kavanaugh as business as usual. It is not.

If confirmed he will overturn Roe vs. Wade, gut the ACA and make sure Trump is above the law.

We cannot let that happen.
When pressed to release Brett Kavanaugh's records last weekend, the Republican Party released over 40,000 documents from Ginni Thomas (Clarence Thomas' wife) promoting events for the Heritage Foundation.

This is a slap in the face to basic government transparency.

I would argue that it's very relevant (and quite disturbing) that the man who has the nuclear codes and thus the ability to destroy the entire planet may have a drug addiction which causes rage, mania and disorientation.

99.9% of Americans earn less than $10 million a year.

Taxing 0.1% of the population 70% on every dollar AFTER their first ten million would NOT harm the economy.

What other countries spend on health care & infrastructure, we spend on low taxes for the super wealthy.
This type of spending is GOOD for the economy since accumulated wealth doesn't circulate while the economic benefit of improved infrastructure, education and health care is MASSIVELY beneficial to productivity (not to mention quality of life for 320 million people).
I'm seeing this argument in conservative circles that taxing the rich is "unethical."

What utter horseshit.

What's unethical is letting people die in the street from inadequate health care just so some banker can afford a second yacht.

What remains mind blowing - GOP Senators do not see Kavanaugh’s participation in year long scheme which stole 5,000 private documents from 6 of their fellow Senators as disqualifying. It was a direct attack on their institution, and showed deep contempt for our democracy itself.
2/Mindblowing part 2 - that the Senate has not come to terms with a private citizen over her testimony this Thursday; and that they are proposing a wild, unprecedented idea of a sex crimes prosecutor interrogating her. Serious GOP, WTF. How can this not be settled by now?

Imagine if Dems had been uniformly opposed to #Kavanaugh when the Cohen news broke. It would have put them in a much stronger position, and put ALL of the pressure on Rs to protect our democracy from Trump's blatant attempt to protect himself from being held accountable. 1/3
