.@LaurieUreCNN reports @LindseyGrahamSC said he supports President Trump’s decision to revoke John Brennan’s security clearance, that Brennan is free to criticize the president but should conduct himself “within the confines of reasonable” like former CIA Director Leon Panetta.
2/ “When you look at CIA policy, a former director should act like they’re still a member of the organization. Mr Brennan has gone way over the line in my view and pulling his clearance makes sense to me.”
3/ On Sen. John Cornyn’s idea to remove all clearance privileges from former intelligence officials, Graham said “I don’t think we should change the system because of Brennan.” He also said Trump “should add Gen. Flynn to that list” of people who should lose clearances.
