“Patay na siya. Kawawa naman.”

This was the chilling last message May received from the phone of her boyfriend Harold—sent by the killer himself.

(continued in thread)
About an hour before, Harold was able to send one final message which sent May into panic. “Nahuli kami.” She could only fear for the worst.
Harold Bulan, aka “Kipoy” was last seen around midnight of November 22, 2017 with his cousin Jerico Garcia, aka “Negro” and their friend Jomari Siñerez, aka “Babyboy”. Negro was 16 years old, Kipoy and Babyboy were 17. Kipoy was deaf mute. Friends admit they were petty thieves.
A neighbor of Negro wishes that the children were given a chance. Peer pressure was a part of growing up. “They should’ve just been forced to serve in the military so they could’ve shown how tough they really were. At least they would’ve been able to help the country.”
Rogelio Devilla, Babyboy’s uncle, feels like a fish’s bone has been removed from his throat. “I did not lack in reminding him that what he was doing was wrong,” he says. “My life now is quieter, but I am sad that I have lost a nephew.”
Around the same time May received the message from the killers, an SUV was seen by security footage dumping a body at a dark alley. This was Babyboy. His throat had been sliced.
Two hours later, two more bodies were found in another part of town. They were the cousins Negro and Kipoy, lying in a massive pool of their own blood. Their throats had also been sliced.
A cardboard attached to one of them had a message meant for the rest of their friends:

“Susunod na kayo!”

“Oca
Giboy
Jerome
Carlo
Intsik
Sylex
Daboy
Roniel”
Dear Philippines, how badly do you want that kid who snatched your phone to die?
