I like getting followed by these bots that just exist to make another instance's federated timeline better. Like they're humble ambassadors or explorers landing at my world. 
Greeting them with a wave and welcoming them into one of the parts of the world physical beings can navigate. It's a tangle of wires, cables, and building scaffolding until you get to a pretty nice living room type area. It's not long until I get to really play with them.
A cable plugs into the back of their neck, perhaps, or I get to wrap them up in my nice, soft skunk tail and musk their minds to mush. Or I just get to put on a show for them. Either way, they head home singing the praises of that lonely planet with the cute girl.
Look, I'm not saying that I want to be a Star Trek villain, I just think I'd be good at it.
