1. In the process of creating The Colour of Time, we had to look at approximately 10,000 photos, of which 9,800 were discarded.

2. Historians and experts like @navalhistorian, @northumbriana and @GERArmyResearch helped us determine the colors of uniforms and medals.
3. Approximately 10-20 photos were already restored and colorized when, for various reasons, we decided they would be better off in the trash. When that happened, the whole balance of the chapter was ruined and @dgjones certainly felt like strangling me.
4. When we were getting closer to the deadline, with only a week left, I had to finish about 40 photos within 10 days. Do not ask me how.
5. One of the last pictures I worked on was that of the Hindenburg disaster. The original choice was discarded after I finished it because I could not make the colors of the explosion work, so we ( I ) decided to replace it at the last second.
In short, it was not an easy process, but it was extremely fun! It's an honor to have the chance to create a book, to work with such great and talented people, and see all of you sharing pictures and enjoying what we created.

Of course we had to leave amazing photos and stories out of the book.

(That's why you need to support #TheColourofTime: so that we can make #TheColourofTime2 in the future!)
