On Nov. 16, 2015, Alexander Yakovenko invited Arron Banks and Andy Wigmore to an evening meeting at the Russian Embassy.

On Nov. 17, 2015, Leave EU hosted its launch event with Brittany Kaiser.

On Nov. 18, 2015, Banks and Wigmore visited the embassy.

Andy Wigmore and Arron Banks visited Moscow in February 2016 to discuss a plan involving merging six Russian gold firms into one entity. Banks was scheduled to meet with officials from the state-owned bank.

The Feb 2016 Moscow visit apparently led to an announcement on July 5 2016 from the bank. The closest I can find is Sberbank Capital increasing their stake in GeoProMining to 31.47% on July 5, 2016, but I don't think that's right.

This is the type of journalism that never ceases to amaze me.

"Russian Ambassador met with Banks and Wigmore on August 19, 2016! Therefore, Bannon and Farage and Brexit are all Russia!"
The Russian businessman that Banks and Wigmore met with was Siman Povarenkin.

It says on Siman Povarenkin's Wikipedia page that his first investment was into GeoProMining, so I must have been right.

"TWE trusts Wikipedia! Scandal!"
