Companies take note from what's happening w/ #BoycottInNOut right now: it's a really, REALLY bad time to be making donations to the Republican party, even if you have without incident in past. Deporting U.S. citizens, denying vets passports, and ~500 kids still in jail? C'mon.
Pro tip for all the #BoycottInNOut boycotters: such actions extra effective when they give the company a concrete step it can take to stop boycott i.e. making a public stmt. that it wouldn't choose to donate to GOP again until it reunites every fam, stops deporting citizens etc.
No, @innoutburger, a company donating money to the party that isn't deporting U.S. citizens doesn't magically cancel out the bad ethics of donating to the one that is. Use your common sense for goodness' sake. #BoycottInNOut

Only potential problem: advertisers can hyper-target in the way that won the election for Donald without a user's privacy being compromised... In majority of cases, you're targeting people without getting to know who they are, based on past behavior. It's FB's whole model.

Today I'm ignoring that embarrassing sideshow of a president in favor of writing a thread about just a few of the many things about last night's election that are making me *really* happy today. Feel free to add on to it!
First, I just want to point out that for the Dems to have re-taken the House in an economy this strong is very impressive. Unseating incumbents is *really* hard to do & doing so in a strong economy, nearly impossible. Many candidates who did it were 1st timers too. Uh. May. Zing.
Next, I’m thrilled Dems gained SIX new state trifectas, states where they control gov's office & both legislature chambers. Like CA, these states can now push back hard against the horror show coming out of DC, especially NY, which is now _officially_ East Coast Resistance HQ.

Okay, I'm going to say this: the thing I love most about the new Blade Runner is the new Voight-Kampff test.
A big part of that is that it is a highly inventive, surprising, unpleasant spin on an otherwise familiar film element. An element which was essentially contractually obligated to return. But that's not the only part of it
(There's a lot of Blade Runner 2049 which was essentially contractually obligated to return, and it's to the film's enormous credit how many of those obligations don't jab you in the ribs with their obviousness.)
