The "cheap and disposable" perception has a tail long as the "BIFF! BAM! POW!" one and it's even more destructive.

The fifty pages of "good enough" art a month workshop model is long dead, but it still sets expectations about value.

Comics have a terrible ratio of return versus effort, which is why I don't do more projects in the medium despite how natural scripting the damn things feel to me.
