Let's start with hope.
I have to confess, I don't love hope.
Hope...can be kind of a dick.
It teases you.
You *think* something maybe, kind of can happen.
If you just hope enough it'll be right?
Too many really lovely people hoping for their partner, child, parent, etc to be the person they could be if that partner, child, parent, etc if they only changed, which of course they have no desire and/or resources to do.
However, I need something more concrete than hope to sell me. We want change, almost all of us in 2018.
Can't you feel it? It doesn't even have a political party. I see it across the spectrum.
We are angry.
We are disappointed.
We feel stuck.
I see it in your tweets, your facebook posts. I hear it when I talk to people,
We're focusing it wrong. It's just building and making us more frustrated, angry, disappointed, and stuck.
What if even 1% of us tried something different?
Let's take the hope and the faith and the frustration and the anger and the disappointment and the stuck, and get unstuck.
This campaign shouldn't feel like a campaign; it should feel like a movement - not socialism or capitalism or any other ism.
It's voting with our $ to not buy in to the sheer hell campaigns have become.
No attack ads, no ads at all.
We choose to help people, strengthen the fabric of our communities, and promote our future.
Let's make change.
