Presumably when Hopkins was detained in South Africa on suspicion of spreading racial hatred, she would have been happy to be prosecuted in court proceedings conducted in Afrikaans and would have declined an interpreter out of respect to South African taxpayers.
I know well the “don’t feed the troll” argument here, but sadly a lot of people read this racist nonsense and nod along, so a corrective, although giving her the attention she craves, is important.
