#lodestar is a very odd word. Not found in the bible. Not used by politicians, journalists or scientists. Not related to the more popular "lodestone" and easily searchable in its singularity. The perfect psyops false flag to put in an anonymous op ed. Let the games begin.
I would suggest that it is actually an indication that the author is a lawyer. "Lodestar" is a method for a court to award reasonable attorney fees.
Analytic software can predict the education and type of person that may have written it. I would save the effort. Logic and history would dictate that anyone that publishes a high profile "anonymous" oped in the New York Times...does not wish to remain anonymous for long.

The @nytimes just published an anonymous op-ed from a "senior administration official." I'd like to posit a guess as to who wrote it. Getting my @ashleyfeinberg on began with a single word that jumped out at me...
The word is "LODESTAR." Note that it comes in the same paragraph praising John McCain. That would rule out flame-throwers like Stephen Miller and Dan Scavino and suggest someone with Senate ties. This reveal is not going to take long.
"Lodestar" just seems like an unusual word to use in general, not to mention in an op-ed that's going to be widely read. It has this whiff of sanctimony. So I search for John Kelly and James Mattis ever having used the word "lodestar." Nothing. But then...

Ok, here I am. I'll write down some bullet-points. This isn't a rebuttal of your article (no time for that, at least not now): it's just my own list of arguments about what specifically I think makes you, and every other bcasher who isn't intentionally malicious, stupid.
1) Bitcoin is one of the greatest financial opportunities in human history. If anyone interested in wealth & misses it/fucks up w/ it, qualifies as stupid. I get from your other tweets that you're not interested in wealth (I am), so at least this point doesn't really concern you.
2) Bitcoin is one of the greatest opportunities for the advancement of personal freedom in human history. I think whoever qualifies as a "libertarian" in the anglo-saxon "free market" tradition (I guess this is the case for you) & misses it/fucks up w/ it, qualifies as stupid.

I shall cover the definition, status quo, problem statement, research and facts, and propose a solution.

Hopefully we can learn more about the nature of addiction so we can better help our friends & family in need.
Of course we will focus on drug addiction as the object of this topic, but please keep in mind that I intend to start this topic to talk about addictions in general.

To define it loosely, addiction is to be so obsessed about something that you would do anything to get your dose.
Currently in most parts of the world, recreational medications are banned under the loose definition of "drugs". In certain, more conservative parts of the world you might even get very heavy punishments if you are caught with it. In Malaysia, it carries a death penalty.
