The left has been making this end of Roe v. Wade argument ever since it was first ruled Constitutional by the SCOTUS. Every time a Republican nominee for SCOTUS comes up they claim it is the end of Roe v. Wade.
Clarence Thomas was nominated by George HW Bush in 1991 and the Democrats screamed it would be the end of Roe v. Wade. That was 27 years ago & abortion is still here and SCOTUS rejected Arkansas' restrictions on abortion in May 2018.
Justice Roberts and Justice Alito were both appointed by George Bush in 2005 and 2006 respectively. The left of course screamed that it would be the end of abortion in America, yet here we are 13 years later for Roberts & 12 for Alito & abortion is still here.
The left has cried wolf so many times that another Republican appointed justice to the SCOTUS would end Roe v. Wade and there would be no legal means to get an abortion in America. There have been lower court changes within specific states to abortion, some overruled by SCOTUS.
Yet here we are more than 50 years after its passage with Republican appointed justices & it still stands a settled law. The left makes it seem like a single justice can wave a wand & abortion is gone. Nothing more than a scare tactic to try to upend a confirmation, nothing more.
Even when there was a more conservative court from the 1970s through 1990s, there was very little chance of Rowe v. Wade being overturned. The woman known as Roe in the landmark case later spent her life lobbying against abortion and that still never swayed the court, ever.
