Kenyans are NOT 'over - represented' in fact they could be 'under-represented'. In the clamour for the CoK2010, we demanded for EQUAL REPRESENTATION across the country. Let's do the maths in this thread.
Kakamega County Population : 1,660,768.

Each MP represents approximately 138,000 people.

These are examples of how our representation is proportionately distributed in respect to population. We should therefore resist malicious campaign claiming that we are 'over represented' because factually and statistically WE ARE NOT.
Each electoral unit has the capacity to harness resources proportional to their representation. Our biggest problem is the collection of taxes at lower levels which then end up at treasury and finally in corrupt officials' pockets. Kenya collects enough money for its budget.

My job is in the Obstetrics and Gynecology department. This is the most active department in any county and sub county hospital in rural areas because fertility rates are high. Let me give a descriptive image of teenage pregnancies and their consequences.

Running an NGO especially an upcoming one is so strenuous and burdensome. I tried it and failed three times.

After working for 5 years in Government, I couldn't discover my spark. I couldn't get the fulfilment I wanted. I didn't see a 9 - 5 job as challenging as I wanted. I needed something different. Something that connects me to the community directly.
Attending to patients and seeing them walk out of hospital feeling better was so warm to me. I enjoyed turning their tears of pain into tears of joy. However, inelastic structures in the system wouldn't allow me to offer more.

#Fact 1 - The Wage Gap is real. People who says it's not haven't read the data.

However, in places like the USA, the wage gap is *not* mostly due to sexism like many #femnist #WomenInScience are claiming it is today. Disparate outcomes doesn't imply disparate treatment.
Women typically choose fields that are lower paying; even in the #STEM fields. To attribute that to sexism only or even mostly is a very dishonest way of deriving an answer for this complex disparity.
