It's remarkable to me that people can actually say this—that regardless of a candidate's actual proposals and ideas, they'd simply be out of the running because they're white. Honestly, it's also offensive to a growing number of PoCs to be instrumentalized like this 👇🏽
Isn't it ironic that it's often white people who set the standards of ultimate wokeness that people of color are then expected to follow and go along with? If that isn't, well, "white privilege," I'm not sure what is. I mean, seriously, have some self-awareness
I'm not going to vote for someone just because they're brown, Muslim, whatever. I'm going to vote for them because they have ideas & beliefs that resonate with me. And to presume that people of color automatically just want to vote for other people of color is absurdly offensive

If the Saudis admit to a "rogue" killing or a failed abduction, it still means 1) they tried to kidnap a journalist on foreign soil for long-term imprisonment; 2) every single denial and claim that Khashoggi left through the back entrance was, to put it nicely, a lie
(Also, the "rogue killers" theory is both silly and laughable, considering that the killing would have happened inside the Saudi consulate)
One hopes Trump doesn't fold in a negotiation like he tends to do under duress, but if he does, it means only that the Saudis have gotten a pass from this administration. It will be up to Dems to make Saudi Arabia a key campaign issue (Bernie has admirably led the way on this)

I want to add some thoughts to this. Fascism predominately is defined by the ideological underpinning that society can be viewed as an organism, viewed through social Darwinism the culling of 'weak' or 'undesirable' populations make society better, stronger.
Fascism requires the creation of a frontier between the undesirables and the 'good people'. It is not strictly a populist ideology, but historically it arises through populist rhetoric and appeal. Populism creates a frontier between 'the people' and some form of hegemony.
This hegemony may be real or imagined. In the case of far-right populism, it is almost certainly illusory. 'The establishment' in the case of Trump, though based in the real hegemony of the oligarchic ruling class, is vaguely defined. Trump belongs to it, but he is its enemy.

It begins by reviewing the history leading up to the release of the applications, verifications and warrants, including the Nunes and Dem memos. It goes without saying that they defend the Democrat version since they are leftists themselves.
But then he begins his argument by discussing the footnote revealing Steele’s bias.

1. I forgot how we used to talk about Marvel movies being “grounded” or “realistic” especially when it comes to color pallete and portrayal of characters or events.

The colors in Black Panther and Thor 3 have come a long way since 2008.
