1) falsely requiring a single Hollywood-style "smoking gun" on collusion
2) reporting breathlessly on a revelation anyone in Hollywood would call a smoking gun (Manafort's delivery of data to the Kremlin)

2/ I mean wow, it's almost like Donald Trump calls media his greatest enemy when it's in fact a stalwart ally, and media claims to be looking as hard as it can for collusion when in fact it just wants to keep us *watching* its "search" for collusion as America goes down the drain
3/ And somehow it's now been a *year* I've been trying to call media's attention to a January '18 NBC report saying Trump thinks Manafort could sink him, which any attorney or journalist would consider key evidence Trump in fact *did* know what Manafort was up to with the Kremlin

NOTE: Today's "failed" Manafort redactions (including revelations that Manafort secretly negotiated on Ukraine with a Kremlin spy) put the thread below in an *entirely* new light. If you didn't read it when I posted it a few days ago, I'd strongly suggest taking a look at it now.
2/ Those who follow my feed regularly know my name-spelling game is usually pretty tight; I'm good at avoiding typos. In this case, I want to note the obvious: that having correctly spelled Konstantin Kilimnik's name a million times in my book and elsewhere, I misspelled it here.
PS/ I put "failed" in quotes here not to suggest that Manafort's attorneys were deliberately incompetent, but just as a way of explaining to those who don't know the whole story that there were redactions that were done improperly and therefore failed to redact critical material.

1/ VANITY FAIR has credited this feed with being the first to recognize the significance of the March 31, 2016 meeting Trump convened—at the Trump International Hotel DC—of his "National Security Advisory Committee." I can tell you @NatashaBertrand deserves a lot of credit, too.
2/ It was a single line from an article (below) Bertrand published on March 3, 2017 that caused me to spend hundreds of tweets dissecting all aspects of a meeting media had previously thought unimportant.
