The approach of these young men is really different- they spent a lot of time learning and learning before they set out, they were not about making hasty profits, they wanted to build something that will last!

Having lived outside India for most of my life among Indian diaspora I somehow along the way adopted a pan-Indian identity devoid of intersectionality something I didn't realise until a few months ago. Now when I look back I have so many questions and doubts.
A lot of things which were "Indian" which I thought were representative of me were actually never representing me. Being a Northeasterner you are already very different from the rest of the country & I guess as a kid I saw that difference as something "wrong"
I subconsciously downplayed my Northeastern Tribal (Ahom) OBC identity because I knew it wasn't the dominant one. I went to great lengths to learn Hindi because I thought knowing Hindi meant I would be more "Indian" & thereby I would be "right" & "acceptable"

They systematically reused known Internet Research Agency content, which allowed us to positively ID them, although we were able to ID them as probably-Russian via technical means as well, like this:

Unbelievable. This is the same station, Prva TV, that aired the Greater Serbia map only days ago, which so many tried to rationalize. A terrifying disinformation campaign; a completely fabricated claim about the creation of a supposed pan-Muslim territory in the Balkans.

1) I missed this a few months ago. Now that it’s recirculating, let me explain the many ways in which this tweet was utter nonsense.
2) 1st, Hillary Clinton was not under FBI investigation at the time she was nominated, nor was she under investigation on Election Day 2016.
3) 2nd, Donald Trump’s campaign was under FBI investigation through a big part of 2016, for suspected actions close to treason. Still ongoing. Most of the media slept through that almost entirely in 2016.
