Tidbit from this morning's @SANDAG meeting: Board & committee members placed green stickers on policies they liked and yellow stickers on ones they disliked. Policies w/ biggest GHG reductions got lots of yellow. Policy w/ GHG increase got lots of green. 
Note: This shouldn't be all that surprising given these are politicians who have to run campaigns & get elected. A new mileage-based fee for drivers would do a lot to lower GHG emissions, but of course it would face serious political resistance. Case in point: Prop 6.
And just for the heck of it, here are the other policies & technologies @SANDAG board & committee members liked/disliked. Yellow for carpool/vanpool incentives, green for smart signals.
