Here is an odd tale from Italy. Last night deputy prime minister Luigi Di Maio wrote an angry Facebook post claiming the text of a tax pardon bill agreed by cabinet had been changed on its way to Italy's president, with measures aiding tax evasion added facebook.com/LuigiDiMaio/po…
Italy's presidency says it has received no such text (). On Italian TV last night, Di Maio showed the additional lines that he says hadn't been agreed by cabinet (corriere.it/politica/18_ot…)
PM Conte says he is going to read the bill line by line. Di Maio that he will take the issue to court. Lega denies knowing anything, saying "it's a serious party." Beyond the weirdness, the incident is a reminder that Lega-M5S could crack any time for the oddest of pretexts
