) #WhyIWrite #1 - Because it's like ripping up a mouth in my mouthless body and finally being able to vomit.
(that's reason #1 - the one that got me writing when I was a kid)
) I was a weird kid. All the things psychology, psychiatry, neurology or whatever other health science have to offer parents today were not available. My parents played it by the ear. I had no idea what the other kids were saying, so they gave me a pink typewriter.
) But that was long after they figured the bad shit never came out in words. This is what I told them when I was 3: a mad man with his hair in the wind. Looks not that far from Much's feelings with "the scream". #WhyIWrite
) Until puberty, I wrote and then forgot. I was ~ 8 when I won a essay award. My mother saw my name being called on the TV at the show I was watching. It was a mother's day essay. I forgot I sent it. I don't know what I wrote. She was upset at first: I never remembered things.
) That kept going. Below is a picture of the day the post office awarded the winner of the "post office" essay a bunch of stamps. Mrs. Smith read what I wrote. My mother asked - I didn't remember having written. I really loved the stamps they gave me. #WhyIWrite
